The Atlanta Braves and New York Mets are playing each other on their Opening Day, and ace pitcher Jacob deGrom is already in midseason form. Facing Braves star Ronald Acuña to open the game Friday, he was packing a veritable flame-thrower.
Check out the sequence here as deGrom strikes out Acuña with nothing but straight heat. He hit 100 on the gun on one pitch, then sent Acuña packing back to the dugout with a 99 mph fastball.
